Role:

Supervising the overall day-to day operations of the company’s Billing department, Reception, and Factory Outlet. Ensuring that serialized inventory is balanced and variance free. Responsible for ensuring a timely resolution to key issues and that appropriate levels of support are in place. Provide support to the Factory Outlet, Reception and Confirming Staff to ensure their success.

  • Leads the Confirming Desk team, ensuring familiarity with company policies, procedures, and job expectations
  • Assigns tasks, monitors workloads, and verifies overtime
  • Manages daily functions of the Factory Outlet, providing direction to the Retail Store Clerk
  • Oversees reception operations, including responsibilities related to export procedures
  • Provides training to confirming staff to ensure a thorough understanding of daily responsibilities
  • Serves as the primary contact for Syspro 8 system issues and delivers training on its usage to confirming team members
  • Coordinates and reviews confirming processes through regular team meetings and collected meeting minutes
  • Monitors reconciliation of Plant and Cold Storage inventories on a weekly basis
  • Ensures serialized inventory reports requested by management are accurate and up to date, conducting random audits as needed
  • Coordinates the schedule for frozen cycle counts and reviews all counts completed by shipping
  • Investigates discrepancies and reports findings to management
  • Performs weekly checks on both frozen and fresh serialized items
  • Manages inventory entry during Month End and ensures confirming reports reflect the previous period’s cycle count summaries
  • Maintains and updates supply inventory and item master files (ICM, IBM, IBN) in accordance with company procedures
  • Acts as a liaison between internal teams and third-party IT service providers (FM Management and Constant-C) to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Maintains department calendars for billing, reception, and Factory Outlet to track time off, and ensures the billing department’s policy and procedure documentation is current
  • Participates in year-end inventory counts with auditors and prepares required reports for both management and audit teams.
  • Provides backup support for export and confirming responsibilities as needed
  • Records and verifies daily and weekly Plant KPI data, ensuring accuracy before distribution
  • Covers responsibilities of the Business Solution Manager during periods of vacation
  • Completes other tasks as assigned by the Plant Controller
  • Creates and maintains the calendar for the billing department, reception, and Factory Outlet, to record all time off in the department. Also updates policy and procedure book for billing department
  • Completes year end counts with the auditor and ensures reporting required by the auditor is provided to Management as well as the auditors themselves
  • Backs up Export procedures when required
  • Backs up all Confirming responsibilities when required
  • Performs other duties as requested by Plant Controller
  • Entering Plant KPI data, and ensuring the correctness of data and distributing daily & weekly KPIs
  • Providing coverage to the Business Solution Manager when on vacation

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • 2-3 years’ experience in an inventory analysis/customer service role
  • Technical proficiency and files management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Proficiency with Syspro is an asse

Please note that the expected new hire salary range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sunrise Farms. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
