Part-Time Personal Housekeeper

Job Description

We are looking for an Part-Time Personal Housekeeper for a private residence in West Vancouver. If you have an eye for cleanliness, and are self-sufficient this role could be for you! The schedule will be Monday 12pm - 8pm and Friday 9am-5pm.

What You Will Do

• Assigned areas include but are not limited to guest area/playroom, garage & adjacent rooms (sports room, recycling room, mudroom), all stairs, all basement level, all exterior entrances, and all patios.
• Wash, dust, polish, vacuum and sweep all assigned areas.
• Vacuum, clean, wash, and properly maintain all furniture in assigned areas.
• Clean sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards
• Clean mirrors and windows
• Clean exterior entrances, covered patio, pool deck & surrounding area
• Keep the garage clean and organized.
• Clean interior/exterior of cars as requested.
• Support in maintaining the cleanliness/tidiness of the whole home.
• Listen and respond to residents’ queries and requests.
• Keep cleaning equipment in good working order.
• Maintain clean storage area for equipment and supplies.
• Observe and report any maintenance issues.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Prior cleaning / housekeeping experience
• Fluent in English and be authorized to work in Canada with a valid working visa.
• Criminal record check / background check required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
• Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
• Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend.
• Ability to lift, push and pull required load (up to approximately 35 lbs)
