Graphic Designer II

Safe Software is looking for a Graphic Designer II to join our creative services team to deliver innovative and effective graphic designs that enhance brand visibility and message communication across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graphic Designer II, you will:

  • Design and produce graphic content for digital campaigns, print materials, and corporate communications that align with strategic marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to refine project concepts and execute high-quality visual designs.
  • Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring deadlines and brand standards are met.
  • Utilize advanced design software to create compelling and visually appealing designs.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior designers, helping them develop their design skills and understand project requirements.
  • Regularly research and implement new design techniques and tools to stay ahead of current trends in graphic design.
  • Actively participate in meetings with the marketing and creative teams to discuss design strategies and review ongoing projects

Qualifications, Skills, And Competencies

Required Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
  • Certifications/Training: Advanced training or certification in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of graphic design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong artistic sense and successful project executions.
  • Safe Software-Specific Qualifications: Strong understanding of the company’s marketing objectives, brand identity, and audience demographics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software, especially Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and composition.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage projects effectively and work under tight deadlines.
  • Unique Abilities: Demonstrated creativity in developing marketing materials that effectively convey complex messages. Ability to mentor and inspire junior designers.
