Management Consulting professionals design and implement process, experience and change interventions that integrate strategy, technology and people to enable improvements that create value for clients and their end users/stakeholders.  

People in our Public Service group serve an array of clients across federal, provincial and municipal government, non-profit, health and educational industries.

The Public Service Manager is experienced planning and leading workstreams to conduct research and analysis that inform programmatic, operational, and organization design, transformation and service delivery performance and outcome improvements. The manager will engage in multi-discipline teams leading the design and implementation of business changes that drive function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on tasks relating to process and people; enabled by technology.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Here’s What You Need:


  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working or consulting in the public service
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience leading the development of work packages and meeting deadlines
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience leading other team members
  • Experience in the deployment of business and technical solutions in the public sector
  • Must have or be eligible to obtain a Reliability or Secret level security clearance with the federal Government of Canada.


  • Preferred Qualifications:


  • Consulting (internal or external) experience
  • Experience working directly with public sector clients
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Highly collaborative working in complex multi-stakeholder and multi-systems environments.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication (written, oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Experience facilitating groups
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, comfort with ambiguity, change and challenge.
