Chard Development Ltd. (“Chard”) is an award-winning real estate development firm based in British Columbia, specializing in urban real estate projects in Metro Vancouver and Greater Victoria. Since 2006, Chard has delivered close to 2,000 homes to the people of BC, including market and below-market purpose-built rental developments, attainable homeownership opportunities and market condos – with over 3,000 more in the development and/or planning phase. The company has been awarded the Provincial Award for Excellence in Housing Affordability and recognized by the Urban Development Institute with awards for Best Purpose-Built Market Rental (High Rise) and Best Non-Market Housing. They were also the first to bring strata office and light industrial space to Mount Pleasant and have more than 265,000 sq ft of commercial development in the pipeline, along with two hotel developments. Over the last five years, Chard has specialized in large scale mixed use multi-family residential buildings and hotel development.


Chard continues to diversify – both geographically and in terms of product offering – through strategic partnerships and out-of-the-box creativity, and to seek opportunities for vertical integration. In 2023, the company established Chard Property Group to provide property and asset management services to their growing portfolio of income producing properties. With strong and stable partnerships and a significant pipeline of projects, Chard is positioned to grow exponentially in the coming years. As a result of this growth, the position of Vice President, Revenue Management has been created with the mandate to build out a focused and strategic revenue management function.


Reporting to the CEO, the VP, Revenue Management will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide revenue optimization strategies across a growing portfolio of multi-family residential properties. This includes overseeing the lease-up process and the developing lease-up programs for new projects, along with managing turnover leasing in stabilized assets. Working in partnership with operations, marketing, human resources, and asset management, the VP will have a chance to build out a team and function in a high growth environment. This is a critical strategic leadership position focused on driving top-line performance through data-driven pricing, demand forecasting, market analysis, and technology enablement. The position will be fully responsible for annual gross residential rental revenue in each asset with gross annual income anticipated to be over $120M by 2030.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record of driving revenue growth and optimization in a dynamic multi-family real estate (lease-up and stabilized) organization. Relevant revenue management experience in parallel industries such as hospitality, travel, co-working or rental real estate would be considered. A strategic and analytical thinker, the VP will bring strong business acumen and leadership skills to the role, capable of building and developing a high performing team and establishing a leasing program that can effectively scale with the organization. The VP will need to bring vision, ambition, drive, resourcefulness, creativity, and stamina to this key role and is a persuasive, relationship-oriented leader who thrives in a non-hierarchical, highly collaborative, high-performing environment.

In accordance with BC’s Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this role is $175,000-$200,000 plus bonus and benefits but may vary based on the successful candidate.
