Pizza Hut Canada is looking for a curious, bold thinker with a passion for brand building to join their marketing team as Associate Marketing Manager. This candidate will be a strong project manager and be responsible for developing and executing marketing calendar initiatives (promotions with existing or new products as standard or limited time offers). They will report into the Marketing Director and work alongside the loyalty, digital & food teams to seamlessly execute promotional campaigns.

- Plan and support the execution of the national marketing calendar across TV, social, digital, in-store POP, CRM, direct mail, and research initiatives.
- Manages day-to-day coordination of marketing materials for national promotions with agency partners and cross-functional teams.
- Identifies and flags potential issues or optimizations throughout campaign execution.
- Flawlessly executes promotional calendar with attention to detail and a keen sense of urgency to execute on time and within scope.
- Supports the development of business cases and campaign planning financial analysis and materials to inform recommendations presented to the National Advertising Council.
- Demonstrates full accountability of media support and financials to optimize planning before launch and campaign performance optimization post launch.
- Proactively identifies issues and opportunities for the brand. Leverages consumer insights and research to initiate new ideas and offer to drive bold sales growth.
- Builds relationships with franchisees and cross functional integrated team (including Operations, Supply Chain, R & D, and Finance) to gain support of and input into marketing initiatives.
- Responds and acts in a timely fashion on marketing issues received from cross functional teams and franchisees.
- Flexible and eager to take on various projects and wear different hats depending on team workload and needs of the Brand team.
- Provides support to cross functional teams and franchisees; responds and acts in a timely fashion to marketing issues and requests.
- Post-secondary degree in Marketing or Business and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing and/or advertising with a leading retailer or packaged goods organization or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply them to both marketing performance and financial planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Brings a careful, detail-driven mindset to both planning and delivery.
- Leadership skills with ability to lead a divergent group of operators, franchisees and senior management through influence and persuasion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task with several priorities.
- Flexibility, high-energy level, drive for results attitude – step change thinker!

- Customer Maniac!
- Proficient in MS office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
- Experience in CPG, QSR or Family Mid-Scale dining an asset.
- Experience with social media platforms and familiarity with delivery aggregator marketing (e.g., Skip, Uber Eats, DoorDash) is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of store operations and internal departmental processes would be considered an asset.
- Bilingual (French, written and verbal) would be considered an asset.
