The University Hospital of Northern British Columbia is seeking a full time Urologist to provide regional services to Northern BC. We are currently recruiting a full-time Associate credentialed staff position (1.0 FTE). The successful applicant will work with the current urology division members in providing comprehensive urologic care to the community, with a referral base within the Northern Health Authority of British Columbia (approx. population of catchment is 350,000-400,000). On-call commitment includes extended regional coverage within the Northern Health Authority. There is also the opportunity to provide regional care through visiting specialists clinics in outlying communities within the health authority.
Hospital resources, including OR time, cystoscopy time, and ambulatory care time will be distributed equitably among ALL attending urologists in the group. There are currently three FTE urologists based at UHNBC, with a fourth FTE joining the division in July, 2026. We are also seeking a fifth FTE to join our division.
