This position at level 1 pays: $22.36-25.48/hour
This position also requires you to be clean-shaven (no facial hair) to ensure a proper respirator fit and to comply with safety protocols, including WorkSafeBC regulations.
A Day in The Life of A Machine Operator:
All Internal applicants will be given priority for consideration for the first five business days that this position is posted. After that five days, Internal applicants will be considered along with all other applicants; however, are guaranteed at minimum a call from the Talent Acquisition team.

A Day in The Life of A Machine Operator:
- You will work a set shift of Monday to Friday 6:15am - 2:15pm
- Responsible for conducting pre-operational checks on equipment
- Monitor the machine during operation and perform in-process checks, making adjustments as necessary
- Perform troubleshooting tasks during production
- Competently operate machinery, such as a blending machine, power sieve, fitzmill, tableting machine, encapsulation machine, and walkie stacker, individually as well as within a team environment
- Clean and setup press machines, accessories, and rooms
- Perform general maintenance of machinery, including care of machine parts and tooling
- Mechanical experience, safely operating and setting up machines while using a diverse selection of hand tools
- The ability to demonstrate safely working in a physically demanding environment where lifting up to 50lbs is a common occurrence
- A cooperative, positive and willing attitude, all while keeping good communication and behavior with co-workers and management
- A keen focus on the little things and an understanding of the importance of attention to detail. You understand that no one thing can be overlooked, especially sacrificing quality.
