Plant Admin Coordinator

Job Summary:

This position will report directly to the Plant Controller. The ideal candidate will be motivated, organized, a quick learner, and remain focused while multi-tasking in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Position responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate receiving materials & FG in ERP.
• Generating short-weight reports for quantitative discrepancies.
• GRN Audit Trail – review of items received during the week to identify discrepancies, if any.
• Line downtime reporting & consolidation.
• Assistance with accounts receivable & payables responsibilities.
• Maintaining records for beef import quota.
• Support the finance team in a backup role for production postings and other similar tasks.
• Other ad-hoc tasks from time to time as required.
  
  

Skills and Education:

• Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in a general accounting or financial administrative position.
• Post secondary education is preferred.
• Strong computer skills with extensive knowledge of ERP systems and other software applications such as MS Office, specifically Excel.
• Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of disciplines to maintain and foster good working relationships.
• Good interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy, to handle a variety of work situations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong sense of teamwork.
• Aptitude to act proactively, requiring minimum direction.
• Ability for decision-making/problem solving within predetermined guidelines.
