We have an opening for a Full-Time position of Forklift Operator at our Woodstock, Ontario location!

What This Role Is About

  • Staring pay at $29.20 per hour
  • Applicants must be able to work in the coolers for varying lengths of time.
  • Ability to complete all documents accurately and completely in a timely manner.
  • Any other warehousing duties as assigned.
  • Ensure that raw material is provided to the production lines efficiently and timely.
  • Assist co-workers when necessary.
  • Maintain Trim Inventory by sorting different types of trim by article number, into bins, warehousing the trim products in proper locations.
  • Transfer Trim products within SAP (Training will be provided)
  • Completion of inventory records and count
  • Verify product received against packing slips (quantity, type, quality, etc.)
  • Warehouse cleaning tasks

What You Need To Be a Fork Truck Operator

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good attendance
  • Experience working in a distribution environment and using RF scanning equipment would be an asset.
  • The use of manual material handling equipment would be beneficial. The successful applicant will receive forklift training (if they are not already certified) and must write and pass a written test.
  • Longer hours or weekend work will be necessary from time to time to meet customer requirements.
  • Must be available for all weekend inventory counts.
  • Demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement in all processes.
