Fabrene Inc. is a leader in the manufacturing of woven Polyolefin materials for a wide variety of building, protective, and packaging products. The North Bay, Ontario plant operates 24/7 and involves a variety of extrusion, plastic and textile processing equipment.
Overview
The Production Operator will perform various tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production, inspection of products and packaging needs throughout the facility. Production Operator will take pride in their safety mindset, attention to quality and excellent attendance.

Overview
- Permanent Full-Time
- 12-hour Rotating Continental Shift Schedule
- Base Rate: $21.71/hour gradually increasing to $29.71 in 3 years (based on CBA negotiations)
- Evening Shift Premium, Night Shift Premium, Sunday Shift Premium

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Job duties vary by area of assignment (Extrusion, Beaming, Weaving, Finishing).
- Responsible for overall operation of assigned production equipment and/or process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing is considered an asset.
- Experience with shift work is considered an asset.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Fluent in the English language.
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic mathematical skills .
- Strong mechanical reasoning.
- Ability to troubleshoot, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Positive attitude, reliable and motivated.
- Safety oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong attendance record.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- Must be able to work Continental shift work (12 hour Days, 12 hour Nights)
- POSITION LOCATION: North Bay, Ontario, Canada.

- Ability to lift, repetitively, up to 50 lbs.
