Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Valuation team, supporting the internal valuation of a national portfolio of investment properties for quarterly IFRS reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate financial modeling, internal valuation processes, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic real estate investment environment.

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Valuation team, supporting the internal valuation of a national portfolio of investment properties for quarterly IFRS reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real estate financial modeling, internal valuation processes, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic real estate investment environment.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Valuation, the analyst will:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly valuation, and audit process.
- Maintain and update Argus Enterprise models for investment properties.
- Perform variance analysis and document key drivers impacting value changes.
- Support the development and review of internal cash flow forecasts and property-level performance metrics.
- Coordinate with accounting, asset management, and leasing teams to ensure alignment of inputs and assumptions.
- Assist in review of third-party appraisals and ensure internal conclusions are well supported.
- Prepare internal valuation memos and audit support documentation.
- Assist with data aggregation, market research, and benchmarking for valuation assumptions.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in commercial real estate, valuation, or financial analysis preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced financial modeling skills required).
- Experience with Argus Enterprise is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with IFRS fair value concepts and real estate cash flow modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to a national portfolio of institutional-grade assets.
- Gain IFRS valuation experience in a public REIT setting.
