Full-Time, Permanent| Tuesday – Friday Shifts | 7:30AM – 3:30pm | Weekends off | Work-life balance
Wage: $25.64 per/hour
Training Wage: $17.94 per/hour
Union: CUPE Local 2087

Paratransit Bus Driver (Full Time)

What You’ll Do
- Safely transport passengers between cities
- Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility aids (if needed)
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Operate a two-way radio and manage fares accurately
- Maintain a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone
- Report any incidents, vehicle defects, or passenger safety concerns
- Fuel, wash, and check fluid levels of the vehicle
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as required by Provincial legislation and record any minor vehicle defects onto the vehicle daily
- Valid Driver's License - minimum of Class 4
- Ability to pass the required enhanced criminal record check, and drug & alcohol test
- Provide a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to work independently and interact politely with the public and staff
- Physically able to perform all job duties
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Previous taxi or shuttle driving experience
