THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU!
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for:
- Proposing and implementing strategic directions in research and development;
- Identifying the best opportunities for innovation and product optimization;
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring all R&D projects;
- Rigorously managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards;
- Collaborating daily with internal teams (production, sales, quality, finance, etc.) and external partners (customers, suppliers, institutions);
- Contribute to optimizing product lifespan in partnership with production and quality control;
- Monitor market trends and industry innovations;
- Manage intellectual property aspects and document projects for SR&ED claims;
- Conduct factory tests, as needed, to validate developments;
- Ensure product compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
- Degree in food science and technology or equivalent training;
- Significant experience in research and development project management;
- Asset: experience as a chef or in the field culinary;
- Proven leadership and excellent ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong aptitude for teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration;
- Autonomy, curiosity, attention to detail, and an innovative spirit;
- Excellent knowledge of meat trends and flavor profiles;
- Fluency in French and English to effectively serve English-speaking customers.
- Salary based on experience: between $80,000 and $125,000;
- Permanent, full-time position – daytime schedule, Monday to Friday;
