Our client is looking for a Functional Workday Consultant.

Client: Canadian Consumer Packaged Goods company

Location: Remote/Onsite in Montreal, QC

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Initial 3-month contract, with potential extension for another 6 months.

Language Requirement: Bilingual (English/French) preferred; English-only candidates will also be considered

Work Authorization: Open to candidates across Canada (remote work possible, especially if not located in Quebec)

Overview: Our client is seeking a Functional Workday Consultant to provide backfill support. This role will focus primarily on Workday HCM integrations testing, and some coordination of support related activities — no finance module responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise testing different types of Workday integrations, working and collaborating with both IT and HR stakeholders, as well as previous experience coordinating testing and system support related activities. You will report to the Director of Enterprise Applications HCM and work closely with other functional and technical testers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and test changes related to Workday integrations
  • Monitor incoming support tickets and triage as needed
  • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution and progress on applicable tasks/mandates
  • Perform functional testing of integration tasks and document results
  • Coordinate deployment of changes to production
  • Support integrations in a wide range of HR functional areas, including:
  • Employee Information
  • Payroll
  • Hiring & Onboarding
  • Talent Management
  • Performance Reviews

Integration Environment

  • Over 80 integrations between Workday and third-party/internal systems. Examples include Desjardins (Insurance), SaaS platforms, and other internal tools

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Proven functional experience with Workday HCM
  • Strong understanding of Workday integrations
  • Strong experience testing Workday HCM integrations
  • Experience managing ticket queues
  • Experience coordinating IT/HR projects/initiatives
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid or remote setting
  • Prior experience collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Prior experience with large enterprise environments

Must have authorization to work in Canada.
