About The Role
Reporting to a Manager, Operations Processing, the Analyst II, provides primary support to partners in ATB Wealth in transaction processing. Responsibilities may include processing tasks ranging from account maintenance, transfers, registered account processing, money movement, and reconciliation tasks. The Analyst II must effectively manage time in an independent fashion, monitor and action multiple queues while keeping in mind various Service Level Agreements and adhering to regulatory controls. This role requires daily queue oversight to ensure service level agreements are met, and must foresee potential issues, and proactively assist with the reallocation of resources as needed to ensure work is completed according to the time commitments. This role may be required to be a point of contact for all rush requests, and those requiring escalation.

Accountabilities
- Demonstrate ability to be agile and accurately review, and process, a variety of requests that come through various platforms and channels.
- Working in a fast paced environment, managing cyclical requests, both professionally and accurately
- Collaborate with ATB Wealth partners across various platforms to ensure that clear, detailed, effective communication and results are provided related to a request.
- Ability to understand and relate the processing picture to the client story in order to exceed client expectations in processing
- Apply critical thinking skills to make decisions within recognized limits
- Work independently and references regulations, laws and ATB Securities Inc. policies to help guide actions.
- Comfortable in utilizing technology to help manage and efficiently deliver client solutions.
- Responsible for identifying processes that can be improved and implemented to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent time management skills, able to prioritize requests and working within limited time frames
- Excellent communication, both verbal, written and through video conferencing and listening skills with both internal and external partners
- Post secondary education or diploma preferred
- Experience within the Securities Industry or CIRO licensed firm
- Comfortable with the language and time frames associated with securities processing
- Strong knowledge of investment industry policies
- Previous client service experience is beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly professional team player
- Strong technical proficiencies, including using G-Suite programs and ability to quickly learn various other programs related to the Investment Industry
