Senior Business Analyst, Access & Provisioning

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Access and Provisioning team. This role focuses on enhancing IT system solutions to ensure safe, consistent patient care across multiple healthcare organizations. The successful candidate will review user accounts for quality and accuracy, troubleshoot issues, analyze large datasets for personalized system access configurations, and document requirements to prevent recurring errors, all while adhering to privacy and security standards.
Responsibilities:
• Review and ensure the quality and accuracy of end-user accounts within the Cerner system.
• Understand and document technical and business requirements for account setups to support user needs.
• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with Cerner teams to identify trends in errors.
• Analyze large datasets to configure personalized Cerner access accounts.
• Document requirements for account fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Optimize mass data processing within the team while ensuring personal information security.
• Collaborate with implementation sites to validate data accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience: One of the following:
• Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business Analysis) with 4+ years of related experience.
• Diploma in a related discipline with 5+ years of related experience.
• Certificate in a related discipline with 6+ years of related experience.
• Minimum 8+ years of directly related Business Analyst experience.
Work Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive business analytics experience.
• Proven delivery track record in dynamic, challenging environments.
• Experience with user provisioning on large IT projects.
• Experience defining user provisioning workflows for project and sustainment phases.
• Superior analytical, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Highly developed business writing and verbal communication skills with strong documentation abilities.
• Ability to translate business goals and metrics into process outcomes.
• Superior knowledge of Business Process Improvement methods (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
• Experience performing options analysis with clear communication of pros and cons.
• Knowledge of IT applications and outcomes from new platforms.
