Our client is a leading provider of specialized services, assessments, and interventions in the wellness space. They are looking for Wellness Kinesiologists to join a team of expert consultants in their field, each with extensive experience in clinical and occupational rehabilitation settings.

Wellness Kinesiologist Non-Union

Full-time 40 hours per week

2 weeks Day shift / 2 weeks Evening shift 8 hour shifts

Cambridge ON

Salary: $52,000 - 58,000/ year * dependent upon experience

This Is What You'll Be Doing

The Registered Kinesiologist will work within a medical office with an interdisciplinary team delivering services in conjunction with occupational therapists, physiotherapy, medicine and orthopedics. Candidates would join the healthcare team delivering wellness services. The Kinesiology role is essential to promoting health and fitness in the industrial work environment by assisting with acute injury management, ergonomics, exercise prescription and functional testing.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology (BKin)
• Registered or pending registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario
  
  

Requirements

• The ideal candidate is client-minded, can multi-task, make quick decisions while using clinical and functional assessment skills related to musculoskeletal injuries and chronic health conditions.
• Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
