Location: Durham Region, ON | Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Site Plan Team on a wide range of civil engineering projects related to site plan applications, building permits, and site alteration permits
- Oversee and review grading plans, servicing designs, and stormwater management reports
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and municipal officials to facilitate permit approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff
- Support the preparation of proposals, project updates, and detailed engineering reports for stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on site development
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant civil engineering design tools
- In-depth understanding of municipal and provincial development regulations
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and municipal staff
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision
