This is a Permanent Full-Time position with 75 hours bi-weekly.

Schedule
- Sun 6:30am-2:30pm
- Mon OFF
- Tues OFF
- Wed 2:30pm-10:30pm
- Thurs 2:30pm-10:30pm
- Fri 6:30am-2:30pm
- Sat 6:30am-2:30pm
- Answers all resident call bells and door alarms promptly and provides courteous service.
- Completes all aspects of resident care as outlined in the plan of care and care assignment.
- Transports residents to and from their rooms, recreational activities, health office and dining room as required.
- Completes laundry and housekeeping duties as outlined by assignments
- Deals tactfully and courteously with residents, residents' families and reports any concerns / complaints to the team leader.
- Practices safe food handling techniques throughout all aspects of food preparation and service.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Certification in Personal Support Worker or Personal Care Worker , or a 16 hour course that covers the provision of personal care and that is recognized by the department . If you don't have this, you must be willing to complete this course within 3 months of start date.
- Minimum of six months of experience in a similar role.
- Basic or Standard First Aid is required.
- Excellent command of the verbal and written English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as a member of a team
- All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
