The Powertrain Analyst’s goal is to strengthen the warranty issue detection and analysis process. The Analyst position at Canadian part return facility is responsible to monitor and optimize all Canadian PT related part returns. This involves reviewing, analyzing, testing, specific returns to feed back findings to the responsible party. To do so, the applicant will be interfacing regularly with manufacturing, engineering, and supply base to come up with containment and quick resolution.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Data analysis, managing part returns, return part analysis, setting up testing environments, and supplier part reviews. The candidate will be interacting with all Canadian dealers. Based on their claim analysis findings, misdiagnosed claims will be challenged and charged back in the in Global claims System.

Basic Qualifications
- Mechanic/Tech certificate
- Work experience in product environment, supplier quality, manufacturing
- Experience with engines/transmission componentry
- Proven ability to independently lead and drive projects within the organization
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Must have a valid driver license
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering from an accredited university
- Proficient with MAPS(Palantir), GCS, Service Library, Microsoft applications
- Experience in reactive quality with complete knowledge of the quality issue identification and resolution process.
- Certified reactive problem solver (green belt, black belt etc.)
