Are you an experienced MPD Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? At Premium Oilfield Technologies, we’re looking for a talented and motivated Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Engineer to support cutting-edge drilling operations across North America and beyond.

What You’ll Do
- Provide real-time engineering support for MPD field operations, ensuring technical excellence and safety.
- Lead pre-job planning and post-job analysis (hydraulic modeling, technical proposals, After-Action Reviews).
- Operate and monitor MPD and pressure control systems (in-field or remote).
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to optimize performance.
- Develop tools, templates, and training materials to support engineering excellence.
- Generate and present reports to support knowledge sharing across the organization.
Required
- Engineering diploma or equivalent technical training
- Minimum 3 years of MPD engineering or field experience
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of formations in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (e.g., Duvernay, Montney)
- Hands-on experience with choke/pressure control equipment and real-time monitoring systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to work on-call shifts (including evenings, weekends, holidays as needed — fully compensated)
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, or related Engineering discipline
- Published technical papers or involvement in industry groups like SPE
