About Us
We facilitate the collaboration of individuals, groups and institutions representing the diversity of the community to pursue research questions and training opportunities to understand and prevent violence and abuse. We serve local, national and international communities by producing useful information and tools to assist in the daily work to prevent and stop violence towards women and children and vulnerable adults.
Responsibilities
The Program Manager will play a key role in expanding and operationalizing CREVAWC’s public education programming, with a focus on revenue generation and external engagement. Working in collaboration with subject matter experts, instructors, and internal stakeholders, the Program Manager will develop and manage the logistical, administrative, and staffing infrastructure needed to deliver high-quality training experiences. This role is accountable for identifying and coordinating new training opportunities, supporting the development of scalable program offerings, and ensuring efficient and consistent delivery. Through relationship-building, process coordination, and implementation oversight, the Program Manager will help CREVAWC strengthen its external presence and impact in advancing education on gender-based violence.
Qualifications
Education:
- 4-year Undergraduate Degree
- Project Management Professional certification preferred
Experience:
- 2 years’ experience in program or project management
- Experience developing accessible, audience-appropriate communications, such as training invitations, introductory materials, and promotional content
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Understanding of project lifecycle principles including planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion, particularly in the context of educational or public programming
- Understanding of community collaboration and relationship-building, especially within equity-focused or anti-violence education settings
- Knowledge of training logistics, instructional delivery formats (in-person, hybrid, virtual), and coordination of professional learning programs
- Understanding of digital marketing platforms, social media channels, and email campaign tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Knowledge of data collection and evaluation methods to measure participant satisfaction, training outcomes, and program reach
- Awareness of ethical guidelines relevant to managing sensitive participant information and working in contexts involving trauma-informed education
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with overlapping timelines, resources, and collaborators
- Proven ability to build both formal and informal professional relationships within, across, and external to organizational boundaries
- Ability to assess situations using sound judgement and navigate sensitive topics
- Ability to work independently, handle details with a high degree of accuracy and to organize and prioritize a high volume of work to meet deadlines
- Ability to understand, interpret, and effectively communicate University guidelines, policies and practices to key stakeholders
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
