    What will your typical day look like?

    We are looking for a results-driven Manager – Indirect Tax Technology to support and enhance our global indirect tax systems, primarily focusing on Thomson Reuters OneSource and SAP integration. This role requires a technically strong and detail-oriented individual who can manage a team, ensure operational excellence, collaborate with global stakeholders, and contribute to innovation. The candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager and is expected to follow direction, execute initiatives, and work closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and other cross-functional teams.

    Primary Duties:

    • Work under the guidance of the Senior Manager, executing on strategic initiatives and daily operational priorities.
    • Lead and mentor a team supporting the OneSource–SAP integration and related tax technology.
    • Collaborate with Global Process Owners and local tax teams to ensure configurations meet country-specific tax requirements.
    • Partner with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to align on release cycles, deployments, and system readiness.
    • Drive solutioning of complex technical and business problems, ensuring high-quality design and delivery.
    • Oversee production support operations, ensuring SLAs are met and issues are resolved with root cause analysis.
    • Lead innovation efforts such as automation, tool enhancements, and system improvements.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory changes.
    • Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and knowledge-sharing practices.
    • Provide ongoing support to Member Firm after rollouts, addressing system issues, enhancements, or additional configurations.
    • Assist in troubleshooting, updating, and maintaining the ONESOURCE Tax system to accommodate new tax rules or business changes.
    • Stay updated with the latest tax laws and regulations across jurisdictions to ensure the ONESOURCE solution is compliant.
    • Recommend updates or enhancements to the system to address changing regulatory requirements.
    • Identify opportunities to improve ONESOURCE Tax processes and system performance.
    • Recommend process optimizations and best practices to enhance tax reporting efficiency and accuracy.

    Required:

    • 8+ years of relevant experience, including strong exposure to SAP FICO or other SAP functional modules.
    • Experience in Thomson Reuters OneSource Indirect Tax (formerly Sabril) with a proven track record of delivering tax technology solutions in complex global environments.
    • Hands-on experience in implementing and leading tax engine integrations, including mapping tax scenarios to Sabrix and integrating with SAP.
    • Experience with configuration in OneSource, including creation of company codes, tax rules, custom rates, trans editors, tax code qualifiers, and reference lists.
    • Experience with overseeing cutover and post go-live support in SAP S/4HANA environments integrated with OneSource.
    • Guided design and development of custom solutions across SAP and OneSource, balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
    • Strong experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement, working closely with global tax teams, IT, and project leadership.
    • Managed and mentored high-performing teams, providing technical leadership, coaching, performance feedback, and workload balancing.
    • Proven ability to prioritize team deliverables, monitor progress, and ensure SLA adherence across production support and project workstreams.
    • Experience in building and scaling support teams, defining roles and responsibilities, and establishing knowledge-sharing practices.
    • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional and global teams.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications

    Total Rewards

    The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
