CORPORATE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST:

$96,964 - $114,075 Annually

Position Summary

Reporting to the Director, Strategy Management Office (SMO), the Corporate Performance Management Specialist is responsible for developing and managing BC Housing’s corporate performance framework, including Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), metrics and reporting tools that track progress on strategic performance goals. He/She/They ensures corporate performance data is accessible, actionable, and used to inform decision-making across all levels of the organization. In collaboration with internal stakeholders, the position promotes a performance-driven culture, builds organizational capacity, and supports continuous improvement. The role also monitors best practices and integrates lessons learned to strengthen performance management systems enterprise-wide.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The successful candidate will have the following:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's degree in business administration, performance management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in corporate performance management and/or strategic planning in a large, complex organization.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience acceptable to the Employer.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Extensive knowledge of performance management principles, practices, and frameworks, including the development and implementation of KPIs, metrics, and balanced scorecards.
  • Considerable knowledge of data analytics and reporting methodologies, including performance tracking tools and systems used to evaluate strategic outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of IT applications, relational databases, and business intelligence tools used for data enquiry, analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Considerable knowledge of organizational performance principles, including high-performance cultures and continuous improvement.
  • Considerable knowledge of evaluation techniques and business research, including survey design, data collection, and interpretation.
  • Sound knowledge of cost-benefit analysis, internal controls, and techniques that support strategic and operational decision making.
  • Working knowledge of Lean methodologies and process improvement frameworks is considered an asset.
  • Ability to design and implement enterprise-wide performance frameworks and guide the adoption of metrics and tools aligned with strategic goals.
  • Ability to lead research and evaluation initiatives, synthesize findings, and apply insights to improve performance.
  • Ability to drive change and foster a culture of performance and accountability across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to build organizational capacity and deliver training that promotes performance management competencies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments, aligning performance practices with strategic and transformation priorities.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to collect, compile, and interpret complex performance data.
  • Excellent skills in data visualization and reporting, with the ability to translate findings into accessible, actionable insights for executive audiences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex, decentralized environment.
