Location: Prince George, British Columbia
Salary Range: $88,990 – $111,237 (commensurate with education, training, and experience)

Northern Health is currently recruiting for the position of Cardiac Triage Coordinator. This role is integral to the coordination and management of cardiovascular services across the region. In alignment with the organization’s vision and values, and in collaboration with medical staff and other Cardiovascular Program Coordinators, the successful candidate will lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a comprehensive cardiovascular waitlist management system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate access and referrals for cardiac interventions and surgeries.
- Collaborate with Cardiac Services British Columbia (CSBC) and provincial cardiac centres to ensure timely and equitable access to care.
- Serve as a member of the NH Patient Transfer and Flow Office, supporting inter-facility transfers and repatriations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient flow and service delivery within the Emergency, Trauma and Transfer Services Program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Minimum of five (5) years of recent, relevant experience in bed management, emergency and/or critical care, including coordination of inter-facility patient transfers.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
