COMMODITY MANAGER
This role involves strategic sourcing and procurement of critical commodities to drive consistency, quality, and cost-efficiency within our supply chain. The successful candidate will exhibit strategic negotiation skills, adept decision-making, and a commitment to cultivating strong partnerships within our global supply network.

COMMODITY MANAGER
This role involves strategic sourcing and procurement of critical commodities to drive consistency, quality, and cost-efficiency within our supply chain. The successful candidate will exhibit strategic negotiation skills, adept decision-making, and a commitment to cultivating strong partnerships within our global supply network.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for assigned commodities to maximize quality and efficiency.
- re favorable terms and reliable supply chains.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrity of the supply chain within the business - ensuring appropriate raw material inventories are maintained, coordinating and introducing ECN's, new parts / numbers into production, and working on cost recovery issues with suppliers.
- Ensure personal and associate awareness of all quality and business-related operating systems (ISO/IATF).
- Post secondary degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred; a combination of education, training and years of working experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement or commodity management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work in a team-oriented environment.
- Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement in supply chain management.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving high standards.
- Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and processes.
