About This Opportunity
The Richmond Country Club (RCC) is looking for an Entry Level Full-time Male Locker Room Attendant to join our Maintenance team. The candidate would report to the Director, Facilities. The individual will work as a cohesive crew with the Maintenance team on a day-to-day basis, performing general cleaning tasks in our members Male Locker Room area.

We need an individual who is at an entry level, with no necessary experience, but is a committed and reliable hard worker.

The successful candidate must be able to:
- Follow the facilities maintenance cleaning checklists appropriately.
- Communicate locker requests to the Member Services Office.
- Identify maintenance requirements.
- Check and clean the men's washroom.
- Clean and tidy sink areas, shower stalls, and other wet areas such as the steam and shower rooms.
- Carpet vacuuming.
- Toiletry supply replenishing.
- Drinking water and cups replenishing.
- Wipe, clean, and arrange any furniture in the locker room.
- Mop/ disinfect floor tiles and wash the steam room, including the floor tiles in the Jacuzzi areas.
- Check/refill shampoo, soap, and conditioner dispenser in the shower area.
- Check Jacuzzis water chemistry and maintain water level.
- Clean and organize the vanity areas and sections in the sink area.
- Organize the shoe station, water dispense section, and the towel area.
- Clean men's washroom in the Pro Shop.
- Laundry processing such as collecting and washing dirty towels, and other laundry as required.
- Clean clothes dryer lint screen filter.
- Wash beddings and pillow covers in the sleeping area (once a week).
- Clean the top surface of men's lockers.
- Backwash the Jacuzzi once a week and empty/clean it once a month.
- Vacuum carpet areas around the locker room.
- Dust on top surface of the lockers periodically.
- Any other duties as necessarily assigned by your supervisor.
- Ability to service clientele of private members and their guests.
- A strong attention to detail and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently.
- The ability to converse well in English is important to this job, given the interaction with members.
- Previous hospitality experience is valued but not necessary.
- Service orientation is comfortable helping members/ guests with high expectations.
- Good communication, confident speaking with members, guests, and colleagues/staff.
- Have previous experience in a similar role/environment.
- Knowledge of various cleaning equipment and chemicals is an asset.
- Problem solver - ability to understand and resolve issues.
- Physical strength - ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Full-time availability and commitment to the Locker Room Attendant role is expected.
- Availability on weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility and timeliness with work schedule.
- Upholding a high standard of integrity and work ethics and customer service.
- Salary: $19.00 per hour.
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, all year-round.
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
- Ability to commute: Richmond, BC - reliably commute to Number 4 road and Steveston Hwy Richmond BC. No public transportation is available to the shop. Personal cars will have parking available.
