Suzy Q is a beloved Ottawa institution with 3 bustling locations and a loyal following. We're known for our small-batch, handmade doughnuts, innovative flavours and strong community roots.
As we grow and evolve, we're looking for a hands-on, heart forward General Manager to help lead the next chapter
As our GM, you'll oversee the daily operations of all 3 locations. You'll be responsible for leading and inspiring a team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining operational excellence across the board.
This is a multi-location leadership role requiring strong communication, strategic thinking and a people-first management style
A people first GM would:
-Check in with team leads regularly- not just about numbers, but how they're doing personally.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across 3 locations
- Lead, coach and develop store managers and shift leads/supervisors
- Drive a positive culture that reflects our brand values
- Manage scheduling, labour budgets and staffing needs.
- Monitor inventory and ordering systems to control COGS and waste
- Ensure top-notch customer service and resolve escalated issues.
- Analyze store performance and implement improvements.
- Work closely with ownership to execute strategy and initiatives.
Qualifications
3+ years in food service management role
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with scheduling, budgets, inventory, and team development
- Passion for food, people, and creating great guest experiences.
- Familiarity with Ottawa food scene is a plus.
