What You’ll Do:

As a Civil Superintendent, you’ll play a key leadership role in the field, supporting the successful delivery of our civil infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating crews and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coordinating day-to-day construction activities on site to ensure the work is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and Forepersons to implement work plans and achieve project milestones.
  • Conducting site inspections, monitoring progress, and identifying potential challenges to proactively implement solutions.
  • Ensuring all work complies with contract drawings, specifications, and safety/environmental standards.
  • Supporting site documentation, including daily reports, time tracking, material usage, and safety records.
  • Managing and mentoring field personnel, fostering teamwork and accountability.
  • Communicating effectively with subcontractors, clients, consultants, and internal teams.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols.

You will report directly to the Senior Project Leadership and collaborate closely with the construction management and site coordination teams.

What We're Looking For:

We’re excited to meet candidates who have:

  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in civil construction, ideally in a heavy civil or infrastructure environment.
  • Proven ability to lead site activities and manage field crews effectively.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Solid decision-making skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary work environments.
  • Familiarity with safety programs and environmental compliance practices.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and a dedication to delivering quality results.

Project Conditions - Please note, this is a project rotational position. All applicants must be open to taking assignments across Canada. We would support flights and provide a Living Out Allowance where necessary.
