Description

Role purpose: Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of all company vehicles.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Class 5 driver's license or higher
  • Ability to understand, speak, and write English to communicate effectively and report on incidents involving safety and/or service
  • No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position

Skills

  • Attention to detail (implied through cleaning and checking fluid levels)
  • Decision-making skills (implied through reporting non-working lights and replacing signs)

Key Accountabilities

  • Vehicle Cleaning and Fueling
    • Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles as determined by the Company
    • Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
    • Clean engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Reporting
    • Clean interior/exterior of bus advertising and backlighting
    • Report any interior lights that are not working
    • Replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
    • Perform a "pre-trip" on a bus for another driver
  • General Facility Upkeep
    • Perform miscellaneous general facility cleaning duties
    • Dump trashcans and wash floors when assigned
Wage: $24.77 per hour
