Logistec, a fast-growing company, is currently looking for a new member at its Sept-Îles terminal. Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations.

What your days are like as an operational systems technician:
- Control and coordinate operational systems as required;
- Coordinate all communications between the various parties involved to maintain the integrity of operational systems and ensure smooth operations;
- Ensure the reliability and stability of operational systems;
- React, analyze and intervene rapidly in unforeseen or unusual situations;
- Participate in and carry out preventive and regular maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of operational systems;
- Respect health and safety principles at all times;
- All other related tasks.
To succeed as an Operational Systems Technician, you must have:
- College diploma or relevant experience in the control of large-scale operating systems;
- Proven ability in the use of computer interfaces;
- Excellent understanding of operating system technologies and PLC operational management;
- Good mechanical and electrical understanding of conveyor, transfer and loader operating systems;
- Excellent communication skills in French - functional ability to communicate in English;
- Ability to understand and use information contained in operational manuals;
- Good physical condition is essential, especially for outdoor work;
- Class 5 driver's license.
