The Digital Services team has an exciting opportunity for a term IT Technician to join our Digital Services team for a four month role. This role will support several key technology initiatives, including Windows 11 upgrades (primary responsibility), laptop replacements, and asset management.

This position is based on site in Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto,

Vancouver or Edmonton.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Assist with the Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade process, including device preparation, upgrade execution, and post-deployment validation.
  • Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops to end users.
  • Maintain accurate hardware inventory by tracking, and updating asset information in relevant systems.
  • Provide end-user support for hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to support the overall success of equipment rollout and technical upgrades.
  • Assist with documentation and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing resources.


What We Are Looking For

  • Strong interest in IT systems and enterprise support processes
  • Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic computer hardware.
  • Experience with Intune or Autopilot is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 25 lbs). Excellent communication skills – verbal and written, for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
