We are looking for a Drywall Estimator with following skills below

Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to understand the scope of work.

  • Perform detailed material takeoffs for drywall and steel stud framing projects.
  • Calculate the quantities of materials needed, including panels, studs, fasteners, and finishing products.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of takeoffs.
  • Prepare and submit material estimates and cost analyses for project bidding and planning.
  • Maintain a database of material costs, labor rates, and project histories to aid in accurate estimation.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing for materials.
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and construction methods.
  • Address any discrepancies or questions regarding takeoff details from the project team or clients.
  • *Requirements**:
  • Proven experience as a material takeoff estimator in the construction industry, specifically with drywall and steel stud projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor requirements.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Experience with takeoff and estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • *Skills**:
  • Bluebeam: Proficient in using Bluebeam software for project management and collaboration.
  • Construction Estimating: Proficient in estimating material quantities, labor costs, and project timelines.'''
