We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth operations. This role is crucial for delivering top-notch care to our patients and fostering a supportive environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Manage staffing and recruitment activities.
- Ensure timely processing of job changes in Dayforce.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high-quality care.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and facility maintenance.
- Communicate corporate policies and manage team activities.
- Develop and manage the practice budget.
- Analyze financial reports and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Foster strong client relationships and handle concerns promptly.
- Enhance client retention and satisfaction through feedback and improvements.
- Coordinate communication between clients and veterinarians.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and oversee safety protocols.
- Prepare for inspections and regulatory audits.
- Implement local marketing initiatives and engage with the community.
- Promote the practice through events and outreach programs.
- Develop business plans and implement strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of initiatives.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
- Healthcare experience an asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Client-focused with critical thinking and financial acumen.
- Proficient in IT and practice management systems.
- Bachelor's degree/college diploma in business administration preferred.
