Your role
Reporting to the Human Resources Department, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our plant's HR activities. You will be responsible for a full range of functions: recruitment, payroll, training, health and safety, employee engagement, legal compliance, and more. You will actively contribute to providing a healthy, engaging, and efficient work environment.
Your Main Responsibilities
Your role
Reporting to the Human Resources Department, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of our plant's HR activities. You will be responsible for a full range of functions: recruitment, payroll, training, health and safety, employee engagement, legal compliance, and more. You will actively contribute to providing a healthy, engaging, and efficient work environment.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the OHS committee and support a strong health and safety culture by contributing to the development and implementation of policies and action plans.
- Process payroll and track working hours in collaboration with managers; Maintain employee files up to date and ensure their confidentiality.
- Collaborate in the management of disciplinary files, complaints, and disputes by preparing the required administrative documentation.
- Manage the complete recruitment cycle: posting, pre-screening, organizing interviews, welcoming, and integrating new employees.
- Write and distribute internal and external HR communications (memos, announcements, newsletters, etc.) etc.).
- Maintain internal policies up to date and support HR management in their continuous improvement.
- Participate in organizing recognition and engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations in Quebec.
- Manage work permit files for foreign workers.
- Support the management of training and skills development.
- Carry out any other related human resources tasks.
- University degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, sense of Exemplary organization and discretion.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Extensive knowledge of Quebec labor laws and standards.
- Bilingualism French/Spanish considered an asset.
