Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Project Director to oversee solution delivery via the Transformation Management Office (TMO) in collaboration with senior personnel, client business experts, clinical leaders, and manage all related activities at a high level.


Responsibilities:

• Ensure project management methodologies and principles are utilized throughout the project.

• Develop, manage, and communicate detailed project plans, work plans and deliverables.

• Monitor and report progress against project plan.

• Identify and communicate any impacts on other project teams and ensuring project milestones are achieved.

• Participate in regular project status meetings.

• Monitor issue prioritization, progress tracking, and resolution process.

• Collaborate with the other key stakeholders in the resolution of any issues that occur during the project.

• Work with project stakeholders on the development and/or enhancement of business processes and revisions to legislation/regulations.

• Support the business owner(s) regarding project governance, sponsor meetings, performance monitoring/reporting (budget, schedule, scope, quality, risks, issues, change control, etc.), and other activities deemed required.


Qualifications:

• Holds a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent combination of education and senior project management experience with Clinical Information System (CIS) implementations.

• 8+ years of experience in acute care health informatics or healthcare transformation projects within Canadian healthcare institutions.

• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles for multi-site CIS implementation projects.

• Has no involvement as a prime respondent or named subcontractor/partner on RFP #8025087-25, ensuring no actual or perceived Conflict of Interest.

•Confirms adherence to a maximum of two submissions per vendor.

• Experience serving in a similar role on at least one large CIS consolidation or replacement project. Includes providing detailed project descriptions, client references, role, completion metrics, technologies used, number of users and departments impacted, and reflections on project strengths and challenges.

• 5+ years of experience in communicating and collaborating with executive-level stakeholders (e.g., VPs, Directors) on large transformational projects, including presenting deliverables and facilitating governance communication.

• 4+ years of experience in planning, designing, and executing transitions of Clinical Information Solutions from implementation to long-term operational sustainment, including workforce enablement and use of shared services/tools.

• 8+ years of experience leading a team of project managers across cross-functional and interdependent projects, including managing collaboration among clinical, business, and technology teams.

• 2+ years of experience managing geographically distributed project teams, utilizing strategies for collaboration and remote support.

• Possesses advanced education in health informatics or a Master’s degree in Health Administration (if applicable).

• 3+ years of experience working within multi-vendor project teams, with demonstrated ability to manage roles and responsibilities across organizations.

• 5+ years of experience integrating Change Management into project plans and deployments, working collaboratively across multiple cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in oral communication in both English and French (if applicable).
