Talent Acquisition Specialist – Atlantic Region

Reporting to the National Manager, Talent Acquisition - Rehabilitation Services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full life cycle recruitment efforts for our Rehabilitation clinics in the Atlantic region. In this role, you will be working closely with all stakeholders to understand the needs of the business, while collaborating with your HR colleagues and peers, to identify and attract great talent and ultimately deliver the best client and candidate experience. This is an exceptional opportunity for a resourceful and experienced recruiter who enjoys a challenge, likes diversity in their work, and has the ability to strategically source talent at all levels. This role is home-based in any of the Atlantic Provinces, with some travel to clinics and events across the region as needed.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Collaborate with the business and HR/TA leaders to develop regional recruitment strategies and ensure flawless execution with the support of all stakeholders
  • Plan and lead full life cycle recruiting for roles including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists, psychologists, speech language pathologists, administrators and other professionals
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and equip them with the knowledge and tools they need to support the hiring process
  • Provide an advisory approach to talent acquisition - ensure the entire process delivers a positive experience for hiring managers and candidates through effective coaching, planning, communication and delivery of outcomes
  • Proactively source talent by leveraging social media and other online networks to identify and attract qualified “great fit” candidates
  • Identify hard-to-fill roles and develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract new talent
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for hard to fill roles – keep them engaged
  • Screen, interview, and short list candidates for hiring managers and ensure all interviews are scheduled accordingly
  • Provide hiring managers with regular weekly status updates on hiring progress and adjust the strategy as required
  • Identify, share and implement best practices and trends in talent acquisition
  • Provide regular reporting and metrics to all appropriate stakeholders
  • Be a brand ambassador and promote CBI as an employer of choice online and all appropriate forums/events

Here’s What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • A university degree is required
  • An HR designation is considered an asset
  • Experience in Healthcare is preferred
  • 3+ years of full life cycle talent acquisition experience in a corporate environment
  • The ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders across the organization
  • A collaborative approach – a strong team player
  • Proven organization, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills - the ability to network in person and online
  • A superior focus on the details, proactive and tech savvy approach
  • Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft products and recruitment technologies
