About The Opportunity

LRO is working with a dynamic Crown Corporation to source a Bilingual Senior HR BP. This critical role would see the successful candidate in a highly consultative, strategic position providing advice and direction on a wide range if HR issues, including talent acquisition and review, performance management and succession planning. This 10-month term will give the chosen HR professional the kind of experience valued in the marketplace that can parlay into expedited career advancement.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the main point of contact for hiring mangers to plan and discuss staffing, organizational design and performance management as a trusted advisor
  • Reviews workforce analytics to identify trends, analyze issues and propose solutions
  • Embodies the culture and values of the organization, providing cultural leadership
  • Partners with the HR team to contribute to the evolution of HR programs, policies and processes
  • Provides guidance to managers; assessing organizational needs, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Participates in any transition planning and change initiatives ensuring effective communication through an HR lens

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources, Industrial Relations Business Administration or related field or relevant experience
  • A minimum of five to seven years of relevant experience, with some leadership responsibilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding or HR policies, practices and systems together with all related employment legislation
  • Experience providing expertise, guidance and coaching to management
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take a consultative approach when dealing with senior leadership
  • Bilingualism (French/English)

About the Job

This position is a full time/term position for 18 months and offers an annual salary of $98,000-$110,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. Our client is conveniently located downtown and offers a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office once or twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
