Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Electrical Engineering Degree, or similar
  • 20+ years of relevant project experience
  • Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng or eligible to register with EGBC as a P.Eng. within the next year
  • A valid class 5 BC driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills with high competency in English (both spoken and written
  • Ability to travel on short notice to customer sites and other BBA offices
  • Experience preparing, reviewing and approving technical documents such as studies, reports, specifications, calculations, plans, and instructions
  • Experience preparing and reviewing design deliverables such as single line diagrams, layouts, elevations, material lists, cable and termination schedules, etc
  • Experience preparing and reviewing project estimates
  • Familiarity with IEEE Color Books, CEC and NEC
