What You Will Do

  • Start-up and operate the Heat Treat Furnace
  • Assist in the tensile test process
  • Work collaboratively with the Nor-Peen operators to ensure proper flow of material
  • Assist Crane Operators as needed
  • Perform minor machine maintenance as required
  • Perform quality inspections
  • Complete all required paperwork, including, but not limited to, quality and cleaning plans
  • Work in a safe manner, follow all rules, regulations, and legislation
  • Follow Lean Manufacturing guidelines

Position Details

  • Working at the South Edmonton facility exclusively
  • Permanent
  • Full-time
  • Rotating shift between day and afternoon shift (night shift may be required dependent on business conditions)
  • Overtime as required
  • Weekend shift may be required dependent on business conditions

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Able to prioritize
  • Reliable
  • Able to work in a hot environment
  • Able to work independently and with others
  • Ale to read, write and effectively communicate in English
  • Must be available for shift work as required
  • Must be available for overtime as required

Pre-employment Requirements

  • Pre-employment testing including drug & alcohol, vision, auditory, background check and physical demands assessment required upon hire
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours/day
