Heavy Equipment Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician to add his/her expertise to our team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines and equipment, mainly hydraulic breakers.
• Participate in the repair, installation, upgrading, assembly and dismantling of equipment and machines.
• Participate in various types of work in the garage, such as painting, welding, cleaning, etc ;
• May be required to work on the building.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Must have a valid class 5 driver's license (minimum); owning a car is an asset. You may be required to travel to different sites for repairs and maintenance, all expenses paid.
• Be punctual, resourceful, available, respectful and honest.
• Useful training: worksite access card, forklift driver's license, forklift operator's card, etc.
• Useful work experience: hydraulics, mig and stick welding, excavators, hydraulic drilling, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, plc, etc.
• Ability to work in French or English
• Oral and written bilingualism (French - English) is an important asset for communication in the multilingual environment of the customer site and technical documentation.
  
  

Required Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in mechanics.
