About The Role
On-site I Summer Job until September (with possibility of extension)
This position is responsible for all administrative functions including, but not limited to, operating a multi-line switchboard, directing calls, taking messages, responding to client inquiries, accounts payable, and entering client data into a proprietary database system.

About The Role

This position is responsible for all administrative functions including, but not limited to, operating a multi-line switchboard, directing calls, taking messages, responding to client inquiries, accounts payable, and entering client data into a proprietary database system.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for all front desk operations including calls, phone directory/switchboard management, mail and shipping, and opening/closing;
- Provide administrative support including reports and proposals, data entry, filing, and record keeping;
- Maintain office organization and cleanliness, equipment, and supplies;
- Support site operations such as scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination;
- Oversee contract and visitor management, ensuring proper documentation and site procedures;
- Assist with planning company social events;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner;
- Possesses tact, superior communication skills, ability to work effectively with fellow team members and vendors;
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to type 50 wpm;
- Demonstrated judgement, creativity, integrity and ability to problem solve;
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal;
- Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues.
- Office or reception related experience or some post-secondary office administration education would be an asset but not required.
- Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance;
- Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks such as keyboarding;
- Ability to view data on a computer screen;
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.

- An estimated hourly pay of $21.94 at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
