What You Will Do
The Associate Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring timely ordering, delivery and receipt of inventory to support customer requirements as measured by customer requested dates and same day fill-rates. You will manage purchase orders from end-to-end, from the time of entry to follow-up/issue resolution with suppliers until a purchase order is invoiced and closed. You will have regular communication and collaboration occur with the Integrated Business Planning team, Marketing and Surgical Support, Customer Service, Logistics and Distribution teams. This is a hybrid role. Employee is expected to be onsite two days per week. This is a 17 month contractual role.

- Manage inventory levels for your assigned portfolio(s). Portfolio size is small to medium.
- Interact with IBP, Logistics, Distribution, Service, Customer Service, Finance as required
- Develop and maintain partnerships/relationships with key suppliers & International Order Management teams
- Follow up on overdue/outstanding product orders with special emphasis on products that are on supply constraint & backordering customers.
- Secure and expedite manufacturing/supplier delivery dates to meet customer requirements
- Provide clear communication with continual follow-up on supply chain challenges to marketing, sales support and customer service teams
- Participate in supply chain projects to improve productivity, processes and savings
- Work with the Distribution team to help schedule and prioritize inbound stock receiving
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
- APICS certification
- Experience with Oracle
