RVH’s Allied Health Services (AHS) team includes regulated healthcare professionals—Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Nurses, Speech-Language Pathologists, Social Workers, Registered Dietitians, Respiratory Therapists, and unregulated Rehabilitation Assistants—working together to deliver evidence-informed, patient- and family-centered care.

With the support of dedicated Professional Practice Leaders (PPLs) for each discipline, our allied health professionals are empowered to lead, innovate, and grow.

RVH is also undergoing exciting expansion, with plans to double the size of our North Campus and launch a new South Campus in Innisfil over the next decade.

Opportunities in Physiotherapy

As a Physiotherapist at RVH, you may work in:

  • Acute inpatient medicine, surgery, and respiratory care
  • Rehabilitation and early mobilization
  • Discharge planning and patient education

You bring:

  • A Master’s in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Acute care experience and a strong foundation in musculoskeletal, neuro, and cardio-respiratory care
  • Superior communication, assessment, and documentation skills

Opportunities in Occupational Therapy

As an Occupational Therapist at RVH, you may work in:

  • Acute inpatient medicine, surgery, or rehabilitation
  • Functional assessments, equipment recommendations, and discharge planning
  • Promoting independence in self-care and cognitive functioning

You bring:

  • A Master’s in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Certification in MoCA (required) and experience in acute care preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and interprofessional collaboration
