We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Property Management team. The position of Capital Asset Planner plays a key role in the management of almost 600 Yukon government buildings that support a wide range of public services that Yukoners, their families and their communities rely on. You will work closely with all Yukon government departments to identify and plan for long term capital needs and develop solutions that maximize the value and life span of government buildings.

- Experience researching, developing, and analyzing business or policy options;
- Experience tracking project expenditures, forecasting costs, and budget variances;
- Experience project management or asset management;
- Experience coordinating, planning and supporting project stakeholders;
- Completion of post-secondary education in Project Management, Public Administration, or Business Administration

- Strong organizational, research and analytical skills;
- Lead multiple projects from initiation through completion while managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Interpersonal and communication skills, to build effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.
- Understanding of long-term building lifecycle planning, condition assessments, and investment forecasting.
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:
- Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence.
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following job requirements:
- Travel within the Yukon.
