Position overview:

As an Analyst within the Digital Solutions team at Sagard, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of technology projects across various business functions. Reporting to the Director of Digital Solutions, you will work closely with project teams to facilitate project execution, ensure timely completion of deliverables, and maintain accurate project documentation. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and communication skills, and will involve a significant amount of administrative work, including tracking action items, updating project plans, and coordinating activities to drive strategic initiatives forward. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director of Digital Solutions and project teams in the execution of projects across HR, Finance and Data Digital Transformation programs
  • Track and manage project action items, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
  • Maintain and update project plans, status reports, and other relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate project activities, including meetings, workshops, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist in the gathering and documentation of business requirements.
  • Support testing and implementation efforts for new systems and applications.
  • Conduct business process analysis to understand current state and identify areas for improvement.
  • Elicit, document, and validate business requirements through interviews, workshops, and other techniques.
  • Work with Sr. Analyst to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for technical teams.
  • Create process flow diagrams, use cases, and other visual representations of business processes and system functionality.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management or business analysis.
  • Experience in asset management or financial services preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Proficiency in project management & analysis software (Smartsheet, Figma)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
