About the Opportunity:
Our finance team is growing, and we are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and results driven individual to join our team. This is a key leadership role reporting to the CFO, overseeing our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Controllership function. You’ll guide a talented team of 10, ensure excellence in financial reporting and forecasting, and bring clarity to complex financial data that will influence our path forward."
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Oversight of the “Financial Performance and Analysis” side of the Finance Department and a small dedicated team
- Specific Responsibilities include:
- Oversight of the F,P&A team that is focused on ongoing analysis of results and investigation of issues and variances, budgeting and forecasting and along with ad hoc analysis to support the various groups within the company.
- Mentorship of the Finance Team. Lead and manage the global F,P&A team, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and accuracy across all subsidiaries and entities.
- Analysis of Monthly and Annual internal and external financial reporting including board and shareholders reporting and investigation of issues or variances
- Oversight of all Annual Budgeting process, quarterly forecast process and ongoing financial reporting
- Analysis of new sales opportunities to support effective decision making and approvals
- Perform revenue and net margin reviews, profitability analysis regular and provide insight and recommendations for improvement
- By utilizing various available analytic methods and working closely with the data science team, perform data analytics to give insights of the the financial performance of the business
- Provide managerial reporting such as departmental expense reporting, capital expenditure reporting, etc.
- Monitor global accounting trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes, advising leadership on potential impacts to financial strategy.
- Act as the project leader to participate in cross-functional teams on new initiatives, products and processesResponsible along with the other VP Finance for treasury function including banking and payments and ongoing reporting to lenders
- Act as a trusted finance subject matter expert to peers and the senior executive team.
Qualifications:
- CPA with experience running a growing an F,P&A group in a fast-paced technology company
- 10+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing budgeting and forecasting
- Proven experience in managing multi-currency consolidations and foreign exchange risk, including FX impact analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and navigate the challenges of multinational accounting operations.
- Experience administering and overseeing the finance activities of international companies and subsidiaries
- Additional Experience that would be beneficial
- Experience with Netsuite
- International payments and cash management experience
- Experience with Power BI reporting
- Experience in reporting to private equity and other stakeholders including banks, lenders, and payment partners
