We’re looking for a part-time Short Form Video Editor to join a fast-paced creative team supporting a digital content creator in the home renovation space. This is a remote, Canada-based position ideal for someone who has previously worked with digital creators and can deliver polished, platform-ready edits with a quick turnaround.

We’re looking for a part-time Short Form Video Editor to join a fast-paced creative team supporting a digital content creator in the home renovation space. This is a remote, Canada-based position ideal for someone who has previously worked with digital creators and can deliver polished, platform-ready edits with a quick turnaround.
Responsibilities
- Edit short form videos (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts) using raw footage provided
- Work closely with the creator to align on creative direction and storytelling
- Deliver high-quality edits quickly—often within 24-48 hours
- Stay on top of social trends, audio, and editing styles that perform well across social platforms
- Maintain brand consistency across all content
- Manage your own editing pipeline with attention to deadlines and feedback
- Flexible schedule, but must be available for quick turnarounds as needed
- 1-3+ years experience editing for digital creators or social-first content
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts formats
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro preferred or Final Cut Pro
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to self-review work
- Strong communication skills and flexibility in adapting to shifting priorities
- Comfortable working independently and under a time crunch
- Interest or experience in home renovation, DIY, or lifestyle content
- Basic motion graphics skills
