We are looking for a passionate individual excited about joining our team as a Water Treatment and Distribution Chief Operator. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily maintenance and operation of the water treatment facilities-a direct filtration and ultraviolet disinfection treatment plant with secondary chlorine disinfection and associated water supply and distribution components. This position is also responsible for maximizing the performance of the water treatment facilities, pumping stations, pressure reducing and control valves, reservoirs and related equipment as well as ensuring the minimization of all safety, health risks and environmental concerns.

This position falls within the Collective Agreement between the City of Salmon Arm and CUPE 1908. The hourly pay rate for the Water Treatment and Distribution Chief Operator position is $45.73/hr and includes an excellent benefit package.
